At college today I made this chaplet - we practiced it in the morning then had a timed assessment in the afternoon to make it. Added another distinction to my set!

More church arrangements

I was asked to make up some more arrangements for the local church, using limited flower material and lots of garden foliage.

Loose letter

At college this week I also made this loose letter, which would be used as a funeral tribute (in combination with other letters to spell a word). The second photo shows it grouped with letters made by other girls on my course to spell 'nan'.

Open loose heart wreath

At college this week I made this open loose heart wreath. It is meant as a funeral tribute but by adding ribbon and a bow we made it into a wedding arrangement.

Workshop sign

I've been busy this afternoon painting a sign for the door of my workshop - I'm so pleased with how it came out!

Textured cushion

At college yesterday I also made this textured pillow, and I was really impressed with how it came out. I haven't done anything like this before so it was nice to do something a bit different. The photos really don't do it justice!

Based wreath

At college today I made this based wreath under assessment. We had 1 hour and 15 minutes to make the wreath from start to finish, including all the ribboning. I work pretty fast so I didn't need anywhere near that long, and I still got a distinction even though I finished before everyone else!

Mixed teacup arrangements

I love making up teacup arrangements, so I really enjoyed making this mixed arrangement with roses, astrantia, astilbe and eryngium.

Pink teacup arrangement

I bought some lovely roses and astrantia from the wholesalers the other day, so I just had to make a teacup arrangement with them!
