Christmas wreaths

A little while ago I posted about my intention to make and sell Christmas wreaths - and here are the results of some of the orders I got! I had some very happy customers.

The last one is the wreath I made for my own front door, but the photo really doesn't do it justice.

Work experience - Dilly's

I did a couple of days of work experience at the start of this week, in a different florist to the one I usually go to. I had a good time but it was really hard work! The first day was mostly prep work and conditioning flowers, but on the second day I got to make up some bouquets and arrangements. Here are some photos of the things I made:

Christmas at college

We're finishing off the art unit at college at the moment so we haven't been doing any practical work recently, but for the last week we made some Christmas arrangements - we made a table centrepiece and a door wreath. I'm so pleased with how they came out - especially my door wreath! It's a bit over the top glittery but I think it looks pretty good.

Another half day

I spent another morning in the florist last weekend. I made up a couple of bouquets and did a lot of aqua packing, and I got to make and decorate some Christmas wreaths! These were put up for sale in the shop which was quite exciting.
