I also got to have a good chat with a lady who is doing the diploma at Writtle College that I am starting in September so it was good to hear a bit more about how the course is run and what the coursework is like. I can't wait to get started now!

Working in a florist
Bit of a delay in posting this but a couple of weeks ago I went into a florist for a couple of days for some work experience. I only did 4 hours each day but I still learnt a lot and I got to make some actual arrangements. It was mostly funeral flowers that I was helping out with, but there was also an Interflora basket.

Chelmsford Cathedral Flower Festival
Today my mum and I went the the Chelmsford Cathedral Flower Festival, and some of the arrangements were absolutely stunning! I took a lot of photos (unfortunately all on my phone so not the best quality) but here are some of my favourites:

It'll be all white on the night
I've got a couple of weddings lined up for the summer and the brides both want white flowers, so I've been looking around for some ideas. None of these photos are mine, they're all from Pinterest. I prefer when there's a bit of foliage or another colour in the design to break up the white, as well as when the flowers are on slightly different levels so the bouquet has a more natural look.
