Wedding promo

I've been a bit slack with this blog, which I know is really bad of me, but I'm making preparations to go official with my floristry business for when I finish college. Exciting times! Which means....I can start planning for this year's wedding season! I posted on my Facebook page last week and I've had a great response so far, with two weddings booked in already. Christmas wreaths

So I've made about 20 wreaths this year, here's just a sample. Busy busy! Merry Christmas to anyone who reads this and a happy new year!

Table arrangements

Final table arrangement orders from this week. I love these cute little posies and people have enjoyed being able to pick the colour of the design so it fits with their decorations. Here we have whites, blues and purples.

Christmas jam jars

I was asked to make a jam jar for someone who had Scottish roots, so I incorporated tartan ribbon and eryngium into the design, with some other Christmassy material and waxed and glittery roses. I also decided to make another jam jar for my mum as an early Christmas gift. She loved it and is thoroughly enjoying having a florist for a daughter!

Festive bouquet

I love this festive bouquet of avalanche roses, veronica, eryngium and eucalyptus, plus some other gold foliages, Christmas baubles and even some twigs!

Working in a florist

I went into Michelle Floral Design in Witham for a few hours yesterday to help make up some orders for table arrangements. And today I have a whole day of making my own orders! Busy busy, I can almost start to relax for Christmas though :)

Running my own workshop

I had my first little workshop experience tonight...my friend Emily came over (for a family party, totally normal time to make Christmas arrangements!) and she made this beautiful table arrangement all by herself, with only a little input from me. I think she did a fab job and I really enjoyed helping her and teaching her a few little tips and tricks!
